Lladro began with the dream of three Spanish brothers—Juan, Jose and Vincente Lladro. They built their first kiln in a garden in the back of their family home and began to create gorgeous decorative porcelain flowers for lamps. Soon they had a great demand for their work as it was unique and created with the highest quality. And in only two years, they resigned from their factory jobs and with the help of a small loan, they founded Lladro porcelain.
