Slow Love:
A Polynesian
Pillow Book

One of the quickest things that can destroy a marriage is an unsatisfactory love life, either for one partner, or both husband & wife. Much discontent may come from our Western culture, which emphasizes performance and sexual satisfaction almost above any other human need.

Tired of the incessant TV and online sexual advice ads, let alone go shopping & have 10, 20, 30 or ‘mo better ways to orgasm, look sexier or satisfy your partner shouting for your last-minute impulse buy at the checkout counter? Marriage Takes Two to Tango!

Last week I wrote about a wife who put her husband up for sale on Craigslist and posted several more unhappy + happy (gasp!) listings about marriage or relationships. Ready to put your husband, wife or partner up for sale on Craigslist? You’re not ready to get divorced but you’ve had it with your marriage or committed partnership—perhaps saying that “you’re doing the tango to different tunes” is an extremely gentle way of putting it.

Money Can’t Buy You Love

The Beatles “Can’t Buy Me Love” rose to No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1964. It’s been covered over the decades by performers from The Chipmunks to Ella Fitzgerald to Michael Bublé. While the lyrics start off with:

I’ll get you anything my friend if it makes you feel alright

He’d be a lot happier if:

Say you don’t need no diamond ring and I’ll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of thing that money just can’t buy

Marriage Is A Journey (To State The Obvious)

Marriage Is A Journey

Marriage is not a ritual or an end. It is a long, intricate, intimate dance together and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance … and your choice of partner.
–Amy Bloom

“Planning My Wedding” is probably listed in the top 3 most important life events for many women (& men, as it’s probably rising on gay and lesbian lists as their right to marry is increasingly legalized). Well, yes, it is supposed to be a singular, once-in-a-lifetime event, however, divorce statistics say otherwise.
